HiHelo - Evil Grey

HiHelo - Evil Grey by Perth Sound & Found

The opening of Evil Grey is strong and really interesting, and I like how the different instruments together and the different layers to the beat add a quirkier sound to the song, especially in the beginning when all of the instruments and sounds come in section by section. The vocals sound great, and I love how well the slightly hoarse sound of the singer’s voice fits into the entire sound of the music. The lyrics also suit the beat very well, fitting in perfectly with the speed and tempo of the beat. The voices in the chorus that echo the lead singer sound amazing and add a more harmonious effect to the song. The sound of the guitar when it sounds more warped suits the overall sound of the song, and I love how well it works with the drumbeat and the vocals.
The way that the song slows down at the end with the twanging of the guitar and the warped sections sound brilliant, and I really love the way the vocals kind of get more airy towards the end of the song and the way the rhythm slows and fades out slightly as the song finishes. The way that the music gets more airy at the end is fantastic, and it suits the song perfectly- even without the vocals and the difference in the beat you still get the overall feel of Evil Grey. This sounds great, and I’m looking forward to hearing more of your songs in the future.
