I almost spilled my drink with excitement when I started this track. The electric guitar riff was magnificent and brought me back to the glory days of Rock when the likes of “Guns N Roses” and “KISS” ruled the airways with an iron fist.
The message in the lyrics was also very reminiscent of back in the 80’s when changing the world through music was a new but powerful force to be reckoned with. But what is amazing that the message about war, its effect and the unity of man still holds true with their music as it did for all the great rockers.
At 3:10 it kicks up a notch and you get this awesome guitar and drum combo which any air guitarist would drool over. The whole song comes in at 5:04 and usually this is too long for a modern track, but just like ‘Sweet Child Of Mine’ or ‘Stairway to Heaven’, the length is just perfect for what it delivers and I can see this making its way to the 'Hall of Fame'…Yes! It IS that good.
Amazing instrumental work, fantastic vocals, solid message, and perfect time = must have album! Be sure to check them out live here in Perth before they take off and I have to pay $110 a ticket!
